Admission Requirements for GSU Postgraduate Programmes

All applicants must have a minimum of five relevant O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics.

Duration of GSU Postgraduate Programmes

• Master’s Programmes (M.A./M.Sc.): Minimum of two academic sessions and maximum of three academic sessions.
• Professional Master’s (MPA/MBA): Minimum of twelve calendar months.
• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD): Minimum of one academic session and maximum of two academic sessions.
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.): Minimum of three academic sessions and maximum of five academic sessions.

Application Process for GSU Postgraduate Admission

Follow these steps to apply for the GSU postgraduate admission form:

1. Pay ₦10,000 using the Gombe State University Remita platform.
2. Submit the payment teller to the Bursary Department to collect a receipt.
3. Proceed to the School of Postgraduate Studies to collect the application form.

Submission of Transcripts for GSU Admission

Electronic Submission

Send your transcripts electronically to pgschool@gsu.edu.ng.

Ensure the email subject is formatted as follows: “Transcript: Name of Programme, Name of Applicant, Year of Application.”

The transcript must include a covering letter, and the awarding institution’s email address must be used.

All transcripts must be stamped and signed by the issuing officer.

Postal Submission

If sending by post, ensure the transcript is sealed with the institutional seal.
